CHRISTMAS CANAPÉS Get into the festive spirit in The Cookery School and learn how to create a delicious selection of Christmas canapés, perfect for entertaining friends and family throughout the festive season. This hands-on, half-day course is packed with ideas for impressive yet achievable festive bites. You’ll learn how to combine seasonal ingredients and classic Christmas flavours to create a variety of delicious canapés, from elegant little bites to more relaxed crowd-pleasers. You’ll also pick up useful tips for preparation, presentation and entertaining, helping you feel confident when hosting over the Christmas period. £75 per person This is a hands-on, half-day course. Your Day Your session begins at 9.45am at the Furnace Café, where you’ll be welcomed with tea or coffee before meeting your fellow delegates and your chef. Your chef will introduce you to the Christmas canapé menu and how the session will run, before you’re assigned your own workspace in our fully equipped kitchen, overlooking the beautiful Bodnant Welsh Food surroundings. With step-by-step tuition, you’ll be guided through each recipe in a relaxed, fun and festive atmosphere. You’ll learn practical techniques for preparing, cooking and presenting your canapés, along with plenty of ideas and inspiration for making entertaining at Christmas feel easy and enjoyable. Whether you’re an experienced cook or simply looking for some new festive inspiration, the tuition is easy to follow and our Cookery School team will be on hand throughout the class to offer help, advice and encouragement. All ingredients, equipment and an apron are provided, with drinks available throughout the class. You’ll prepare a selection of festive canapés, learning how to make delicious little bites that are as impressive to look at as they are to eat. At the end of the session, you’ll leave with new skills, recipe notes and your own selection of Christmas canapés to take home, along with plenty of ideas to impress your guests over the festive season. Please remember to bring suitable containers with you so you can take your canapés home. Come and spend a fun and festive morning with us!
