Join us at The Hayloft on Wednesday, 21st October for a special Halloween Supper Club exploring the fascinating history of witchcraft in Conwy and the surrounding area, in partnership with the Conwy Historical Society. Enjoy a delicious dinner while discovering the intriguing stories behind local beliefs, accusations, trials and tales of witchcraft, and how superstition and folklore shaped life in Conwy and the wider region throughout the centuries. For centuries, people across North Wales were accused of witchcraft. Who were they, what were they accused of and what happened to them? Drawing on original records and local research, Morgan Ditchburn explores the people, accusations and trials behind the fascianting - and often unsettling story of the witchcraft trials in North Wales. At £45 per person, this unique evening is the perfect seasonal night out, combining great food with fascinating local history and a touch of Halloween mystery.
