Furnace Tea Room
Housed in what once was the stable building of Furnace Farm, the 18th century buildings have been lovingly restored to form the Furnace Tearoom; set against a spectacular backdrop of Conwy Estuary, our tearoom offers perfect countryside escapism.
Open daily throughout the year, the Furnace Tearoom offers an appetising selection of traditional homemade cakes and breads, baked onsite in our bakery each morning. Still warm from the griddle, our Welsh Cakes are often made using the dairy’s homemade buttermilk; and our tasty bara-brith is created following an authentic farm house recipe.
As well as pots of Welsh brewed tea, artisan breads, and lashings of Bodnant butter, you’ll also find a selection of light snacks served until 4pm.
Why not treat someone special to a spot of afternoon tea, available daily between 2:30pm-4:00pm. Bodnant’s afternoon tea menu offers guests a choice of Welsh brewed tea and locally ground coffee, freshly made sandwiches served on Bodnant bread with a variety of traditional Welsh fillings, a daily selection of homemade cakes and fancies, and warm-baked scones served with Bodnant’s handmade salted butter, clotted cream and Pant Glas jam.
All of our ingredients are sourced locally, where possible, and stocked in the farm shop.
