We are ideally located for access to the North Wales coast, Snowdonia national park and some fantastic walking and cycling trails.
Why not visit the spectacular Bodnant Garden, owned by the National Trust (open all year round) world famous for it’s laburnum arch, grand Italianate terraces, streams, waterfalls and views. Explore the magnificent scenery and many attractions and activities offered by North Wales. Nearby is the elegant seaside resort (Llandudno); sandy beaches (Colwyn Bay and Penmaenmawr); a medieval walled town (Conwy); theatres (Llandudno and Colwyn Bay); and numerous castles (Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech, Dolwydelan, Penrhyn) and houses (Gwydir, Plas Newydd, Plas Mawr). Within striking distance is Snowdonia National Park, with a wealth of outdoor activities (walking, climbing, kayaking, fishing, moutain biking, Surf Snowdonia, Zip World etc.). Located just a stone’s throw away from the Furnace Farmhouse is the Hayloft Restaurant, where you can enjoy a sumptuous 3 course lunch during your visit (Wednesday-Sunday). If it’s a light lunch or a spot of afternoon tea you’re after, the onsite Furnace Tearoom offers an alternative menu featuring a tempting choice of light refreshments and quick meals, and is open daily throughout the year.
Please note the Hayloft restaurant is closed Sunday evening and all day Monday & Tuesday.
