About Bodnant Welsh Food
Wales’ growing reputation as a nation of passionate producers and fanatical foodies is nowhere more apparent than at the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre.
Set in the heart of Conwy Valley and surrounded by the stunning scenery of Snowdonia, Bodnant’s multi-award-winning Welsh Food Centre provides a memorable visit, whether it’s for a few hours, a day or even longer stay in the adjoining farmhouse.
Established in 2012, the centre was established to provide a showcase for the best of Welsh food:
- fresh meat from the local valleys and hills
- butter, cheese and ice cream made within 24 hours of milking the cows grazing less than a mile away
- breads, cakes and pies baked freshly each day
- a wide range of foods specially made by artisan producers
The centre offers the very best fresh, seasonal, handmade food and drink from in-house specialists and local artisan producers.
We aim to source primarily from local food producers, then Wales, and then from other quality suppliers within the UK. Over 50% of the products we sell are made on-site, with 85% of all products in the Farm shop sourced from Wales.
Within the centre you will find a number of ways to savour the local tastes: sample and buy in the shop, enjoy a snack or light lunch in the Furnace Tea Room or learn more about creating tempting Welsh dishes in the cookery school.
Want to discover Welsh wines? The wine shop is open daily, with wine courses run on a regular basis.
We would be delighted to welcome you to Bodnant to discover the True Taste of Wales!
