As a not-for-profit organization, the National Beekeeping Centre Wales aims to help safeguard the future of bees and promote good beekeeping. We love honeybees because they produce delicious honey, and beeswax that is used in candles, soap, body creams and furniture polish!  But they are also vital to us since they pollinate many plants.  Without them the variety and yield of much of our food crops would be drastically reduced, so it’s important that we look after the bees and their habitat. The honey Bee is also an important indicator of the health of the ecosystems on which we depend.
